Please let me know if you are unable to attend. AGENDA 1) Discussion with Mr. John Hood with Winchester and Western Railroad. 2) Staff presentation and discussion of corridor maps for Routes 50, 7 and 11 South. 3) Discussion of format for public meetings on corridor studies. 4) Other. 9 North Loudoun Street P.O. Box 601 Winchester, VA 22601 Winchester, VA 22604 5/10/93 CP&P Committee Agenda page 2 1) Mr. Hood has requested to meet with the Committee to discuss issues relating to rail use in the County. 2) Staff is working on preparing corridor maps on the computer which will be ready for our meeting. The Committee will need to decide if the area delineated for the corridors is adequate. 3) The Committee needs to begin to think about a format for the public meetings that will encourage participation. Scheduling of the meeting dates and times, advertising the meetings, information to be presented, displays, and methods of soliciting input all need to be worked out. 4) Other. (Two separate meeting locations, one for the Routes 7 and 50 corridors and one for the Route 11 corridor.) Conduct attitude\issues survey Utilize Frederick County Edition. Have survey printed along with article discussing studies and announcing dates of meetings. Do we want to hold two sets of meetings?
