At the Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County, Virginia
held in the Supervisors Room over the Clerk's office, on Monday August 11, 1941
P R E S E N T

The minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved.
REPORTS OF T. W. RUSSELL. I. FRED STINE. MISS SPROUSE AND HARRY McCAN
The report of T. W.. Russell, Supt of the County Home, I. Fred Stine, County
Agent, Miss Sprouse, Home Demonstration Agent and Harry L. McCann County Treasurer
were respectively presented by them, and each report was approved.
D ELINQUENT LIST FOR 1940.
The County Treasurer, Harry L. McCann, presented to the Board of Supervisors

the delinquent personal property list for the year 1940 in the amount of $2,493.00
also the delinquent land taxes for the year 19P in the amount of $7,105.06 the total
being $9,598.06, which was unanimously approved by the Board.
PETTY CASH FUND
Upon motion of Mr. Fout seconded by Mr. Carpenter and unanimously tarred the
Clerk is ordered to draw a warrant payable to Harry L. McCann Treas., for $50.00 to
be added to the Petty Cash Fund and the Treasurer is hereby instructed until further
notice to pay the County light bills monthly to save discount out of Petty Cash account.
N.Y.A. PROJECT.
Mrs. Nalley appeared before the Board with a representative of N.Y.A. regarding
setting up an N.Y.A. Project for employment of girls, etc., replacing W. P. A., Sewing
Project which has been discontinued. Upon motion which carried the Board agreed to pay
not exceeding $30.00 per month to carry on this Project.
Accounts totaling $2,534.18 were approved and ordered paid from the General County
Fund by warrants Nos. 5683 to 5824 inclusive:
Sheep claims totaling $54.00 were approved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund
by warrants Nos. 490. 493 inclusive.
It is ordered that the Board now adjourn.
