August 11, 1947c 3> At the Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County, Virgin, held on the Iith day of August, 1947 in the Supervisors Room over the Clerk's Office. P- R- E- S -E -N -T C. M. Rosenberger, Chairman, G. W. Lemley, H. M. Fout, William Carpenter and H. C. Light. The minutes of the last meeting held on the I4th day of July, 1947, were read and approved. REPORTS: Earl S. BAILEY, ROBERT DeHAVEN, EARL CATHER I. FRED STINE, F. M. YELLOTT, JOSEPH A. MASSIE, JR., HARRY L. MCCANN AND NATILDA SWISHER. The reports of Earl S. Bailey, Commissioner of Revenue, Robert DeHaven, Sheriff, Earl Cather, Game Warden, I. Fred Stine, County Agent, F. M. Yeilott; Road Engineer, Joseph A. Massie, Jr. Commonwealthts Attorney Harry L. McCann, Treasurer and Natilda Swisher, Welfare Board, were read and approved. OFFICE - COM ATTORNEY Upon motion of William Carpenter and seconded by G. W. Lemley it was unaminously decided to permit Joseph A. Massie, Jr. to occupy the Room in the County Office Building which was recently vacated by the Frederick County Draft Board. DIVISION OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES Upon motion it was unaminously decided that the Department of Weights and Measures be employed to test the Weights and Measures in this County and ii is requested that these tests be made at the same time that they are made in the City of Winchester. I SCHOOL FUND AND APPROPRIATION On motion duly seconded it is ordered that the School Fund shall receive during the Current year the full amount of the general School Levy and also the school appropriation from the General County Fund. This will be accomplished by paying from the General County Fund to the School Fund the amount of the School Levy and the appropiation and placing the total tax income to the credit of the General Fund, The County Treasurer is directed to transfer these funds as the money becomed available. ROADS Upon motion it is unanimously requested that the department) of Highways add to the Secondary Road System a section of road leading from Thornton Lane B / .622 0.60 mi. South of 627 in a Westernly direction, a distance of 0.78 miles to the home of Marsell Funk. BILLS APPROVED Accounts totaling $3,064.28 were approved and ordered to be paid from the General County Fund by warrants numbers I0I94 to I0327 inclusive and Earl Cather's Salary and Livestock and Fowl Claims totaling $ I89.86 were approved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by warrants numbers 901 to 91I inclusive.
