At the Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of
Frederick County Virginia held in the Supervisors Room over the Clerk's office on Monday
May 14th, 1945.
Present: C. M. Rosenberger Chairman G. W. Lemley, H. M.
Fout William Carpenter and H. C. Light.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting held on the 9th day of
April 1945 were real and approved.

Yellott, H. L. McCann and J. Sloane Kuykendall Commonwealth's Attorney.
The reports of W. L. Hoover, Superintendent of the County
Home, Ruth McNeil Home Demonstration Agent, I. Fred Stine, County'Agent, F. M. Yellott,
District Road Engineer, H. L. McCanq County Treasurer and J. Sloane Kuykendall Common-
wealth's Attorney were read and approved.
RUTH McNEIL- ANNE PRESTON STARLING
Upon motion it is unanimously ordered that Miss Anne Preston
Starling, County School Supervisor exchagge office with Miss Ruth McNeil in order to make
more space for the Triple A and the Home Demonstration Agent the Clerk is ordered to
mail a copy of this minute to Anne Preston Starling and one to Miss Ruth McNeil.
SCHOOL BOARD BUDGET
Upon motion by H. M. ]rout and seconded by H. C. Light it
was unanimously ordered that the Budget of the Frederick County School Board for the
year of 1945 and 1946 as presented to this Board be reduced from $188,837.48 to
$185,122.66 and that the reduction be made in the Auxiliary Agencies (Transportation).
TENTATIVE BUDGET
Upon motion of H. C. Light and seconded by William Carpenter,
the tenl.ative Budget as prepared was unanimously adopted and the Clerk of the is
authorized and ordered to have the same published in the Winchester Evening Star as
required by law and the Public hearing thereon shall be on the 11th day of June 1945.
BILLS APPROVED
Accounts totaling $2,937.81 were approved and ordered to
be paid from the General County Fund by Warrants numbers 8562 to 8719 inclusive and
Livestock Claims and F. W. P,ingley's salary totaling $206.30 were approved and ordered
to be paid from the Dog Fund by warrants nembers 724 to 732 inclusive.
It is ordered that the Board do now adjourn.
