�� -, � ®�� � �� y;p.GIN� j738 1'1�(�C'I1A.I1�A rT'I ®i Designating Iiecembcr 14 -19, 2009 as Frederick �ouniy Educational Foundation 'Week WHEREAS, DECA is an Association of lvlarketing Students and has a goal of improving educational and career opportunities for students interested in careers in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship; and WHEREAS, Sherando High School DECA has established a goal of raising $1 dollar from every student in Frederick County in an effort to raise awareness of the Frederick County Education Foundation; and WHEREAS, the funds raised through this effort will assist the Frederick County Education Foundation in providing grants to teaches for supplemental funding for classroom projects and equipment that�is not funded through the normal school budgeting process; and WHEREAS, these funds will also assist in the funding of scholarships which the Foundation awards annually to county seniors pursuing careers in higher education.
