Please allow this correspondence to act as my request to adopt a resolution to recognize
National Volunteer Week, April 15 through Apri121, 2007. We would ask that you honor
- Frederick County's Volunteers within the Fire and Rescue System. Your support will
challenge and encourage others to commit to volunteer service within the community.
Our plans include honoring all Fire and Rescue Volunteers ~by awazding them each with a
certificate of appreciation. These certificates will be given to the Chiefs for distribution.
The certificates will be presented to the Volunteers at a time and place determined by
each Chief.
