January 02, 1939�5Q At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors for Frederick County, Virginia, held at the Court House thereof on Monday, January 2, 1939. PRESENT: C. I. Brumback, Chairman; Phil H. Gold; W. H. Branner; C. M. Rosenberger; E. W. Adams; B. P. Harrison, Commonwealth's Attorney; F. W. Pingley, Game Warden; and Lee N. Whitacre, Commissioner of Revenue. REPORT OF T. W. RUSSELL. SUPT. OF COUNTY HOME T. W. Russell, Superintendent of the County Home, presented his report and the same was unanimously approved. EXPENSE ACCOUNT OF THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION THE Board of Equalization presented their expense account for their servic as follows: E. M. Funk, $508.51; J. W. Richard, $431.10; Elijzh Pifer, $506.50; L. H. Ramey, x;461.90; W. S. O'Rear, $461.25: Clerical Help - Catherine Lineweaver for making up books - 24 days - $72.00 T!iss Mary Virginia Larrick for typing and clerical work - 44,16 days - $89.00. PAY OF SUPERVISORS Beginning January 1, 1939 and according to order entered by the Court and agreement by all members of the Board, each member shall receive $16.66 plus mileage for their attendance,except the Chairman who shall receive $19.16 plus mileage, based on twelve meetinEp per year, and for the last six months of unpaid salary, July 1 - January 1, 1939, each member shall receive $55.00. TYPEWRITER FOR SHERIFF'S OFFICE Upon motion, J.'B. Bywater.s.,cSheriff, is authorized to purchase the typewriter exchanged by the Clerk's Office for a new one,at the price of $32.50. PURCHASE OF WILL BOOK It is ordered that a Will Book be purchased for the recording of Wills of the Superior Court. Said Will Book No. 3 has been lost for many years, but the original Wills, Estate Accounts, Appraisements, etc. are in tact. Bills totaling $4,794.95 were approved and ordered to be paid from the General County Fund by Checks Nos. 3549 to 3612, inclusive. Sheep Claims totaling $105.02 were approved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by Checks Nos. 293 to 300, inclusive. It is ordered that the Board do now adjourn. CHAIRMkN CLERK
