Upon motion, duly seconded, the Board unanimously agreed to accept the offer of E.B.I
for the Board

$90.00 per year beginning January 1, 1957, for the use of said Frederick County Garbage Dump.

Mrs. D. W. Ritenour presented an offer of six cents per line plus $25.00 to'make a
new index book to replace number five ; and upon motion, the Board unanimously agreed to accept
said offer.

L'IHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Department of Highways, had pre-
, pared and submitted plans to the Board for the construction or improvement of a section of Route
622 of the State Secondary System, Project 1334 -15, in Frederick County, from Int. Rt. 11 (S. of
SCL Winchester) to Int. Rt. 644, approved February 13 1957; and
WHEREAS; it is the desire of this Board that said road be improved in accordance I
with said plans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That this Board herebyapprov�es the plans and requests
the Department of Highways to proceed with construction in accordance therewith, and this Board
hereby agrees to assist and cooperated in the acquisition of the right of way shown on plans
required, it being

and sewer line from the new school on the Papermill Road to the City mains; and upon motion of

COUNTY AUDIT - FREDERICK COUNTY

quested by this Board, that the auditor.of public accounts make the annual audit of the Frederic

ROAD VIEWERS
It appearing to the Board that it is necessary to have road viewers
appointed; on motion, duly seconded, it is ordered that J. L. Heishman, Sloane Wolfe, Ray Rinker,
Carroll Solenberger, and J. L. Jolliffe, be, and hereby are appointed Road Viewers.
It is further ordered that they report to the County Clerk's Office on
the 26th day of April, 1957. at 10:00 A.M. to be qualified and view certain roads.

The following is a report of the Frederick County Planning Commission April 8, 1957.
The Planning Commission of Frederick County, Virginia, met on the 6th day of April, !
1957, in the County Clerk's Office Building and unanimously adopted the petition of the residents'
of bierrimans Lane, Shawnee District, Frederick County, Virginia, for the addition to Zoned Area
A as outlined in said petition and does hereby recommend to the Board of Supervisors that a
description of said land as set forth in said petition be accepted by the Board of Supervisors.
ZONING ORDINANCE - MERRIMANS LANE
- Upon motion, duly seconded, the following ordinance passed its first and

The citizens of Frederick County, Virginia, are hereby notified, pursuant
to Section #15 of the Cide of Virginia and as amended, that the Board of Supervisors have
approved on first and second reading a proposed ordinance entering zoned area " A " south, west
and East of 1erriman's Lane in Shawnee Magisterial District, from U. S. Highway No. 50 south to
