July 13, 195366 At the Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County, Virginia, held in the Supervisors Room over the Clerk's Office on the 13th, day of July, 1953• P- R- E- S -E -N -T C. M. Rosenberger,Chairman; Paul Luttrell, B. 0. Brumback, C. E. Garber and Grover Teets. The minutes of the last meeting held on the 8th. day of June, 1953, were read and approved. REPORTS: Earl Cather, Harry L. McCann, John 19olfe., B. D. Fleenor, Robert L. DeHaven, Earl S. Bailey, Dr. A. L. Lindall and Mrv. Pansy Wright. Reports of Earl Cather, Game Warden; Harry L. McCann, Treasurer; John Wolfe, County Agent; B. D. Fleenor, Road Engineer; Robert L. DeHaven, Sheriff; Earl S. Bailey, Commissioner of the Revenue; Dr. A. L. Lindall, Health Officer; and Mrs. Pansy Wright, Tuberculosi Association, were read and approved. MOTION TO BORROW MONEY Upon motion of B. 0. Brumback and seconded by Grover Teets, which was unanimously passed: It is resolved that the County through this Board borrow the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00) at interest at the rate of four (4) per cent per annum, from the Middletown State Bank, Middletown, Virginia, in two months from date to be used to meet current expenses and borrowed in anticipation of current revenue to be paid in two months, said sum does not exceed 25% of the anticipated income from the General County Levy and power and authority is granted to C. M. Rosenberger as Chairman of the Board and Lee N. Whitacre, its Clerk to execute I a note of the Board evidencing the above obligation. Hottle, Conservation Officer appeared and stated the State Game Commission had agreed to take over and keep up the service of the Two -way Radio installation in the County, providing the County would assign their interest (namely ($50.00) over to the Commission. After some discussion, a motion by Paul Luttrell that we donate ouPinterest in same to the commission, providing the Radio stays in this territory; was seconded by Mr. C. E: Garber and so ordered by unanimous vote. j AMENDED ORDINANCE TO SUBDIVISIONS Upon motion duly seconded, it is ordered that the third reading and fiscal passage on the Amended Ordinance in Sub - divisions requiring the Sub - dividor to provide necessary space for all utility poles which said poles are to be placed in the rear of all strretl lines. The Clerk is ordered, to advertise in the.Winchester Eyening Star one time in each of I two consecutive weeks a notice of this action. I ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Accounts totaling $5,919.68 were approved and ordered to be paid from the General County Fund by Warrants numbers 14567 to 14619 inclusive; and Livestock, Fowl Claims i and Earl Cather's salary totaling $135.00 were approved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by Warrants numbers 1336 to 1338 inclusive.
