ROAD BUDGET
Upon motion duly seconded the following resolution was adopted:

Upon motion duly seconded, the School Board Budget for the year begin -

ROADS
Upon motion duly seconded, this Board unanimously requests that the
State Highway Commission re- appoint B. D. Fleenor, Road Engineer; for another term for Frederick
County. The Clerk is ordered to mail a copy of this request to Mr. Fleenor and State Highway
Commission.
WELFARE BUDGET
Upon motion duly seconded, the Welfare Budget for the fiscal yBar
beginning on the 1st, day of July, 1953, and ending on the 30thth. day of June, 1954, wgs approved
to the amount of $81,376.00 of which amount this Board has allocated $14,500.00.
BUDGET - TENTATIVE
Upon motion duly seconded, the tentative budget as prepared was unani-
mously approved and the Clerk of this Board is ordered and authorized to have the same published
in the Winchester Evening Star as required by law, and the public hearing thereof shall be held
on the 13th. day of July, 1953
COUNTY AGENT
Upon motion this Board extends their appreciation to I. Fred Stine,
County Agent for his faithful service in the extension work of Frederick County during his term
of office.
BILLS PAYABLE
Accounts totaling $4515.23 were approved and ordered to be paid from
the General County Fund by Warrants numbers 14528 to 14566 inclusive and Livestock, Fowl Claims
and Earl Cather's salary totaling $304.70 were approved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund
by Warrants numbers 1328 to 1335 inclusive.
Upon motion duly seconded, it is ordered that the Board do now adjourn.
