M. Rosenberger, Chairman; Paul Luttrell, B. 0. Brumback, C. E. Garber 0 and Grover Teets. PREPARING BUDGET This meeting was called for the purpose of preparing the 1953 and 1954 budget. The evening was spent in estimating the income and expenses for said budget. LEVY Upon motion duly seconded, it is unanimously ordered, that the testative levy for the fiscal year beginning on the 1st, day of July, 1953 and ending on the 30th, day of June, 1954, be set at the following rates: General County.Levy on each $100.00 valuation fifty -five ($0.55) cents School Levy on each $100.00 valuation one - hundred ($1.00) cents Special Levy for County High School debt service sixty ($0.60) cents on each $100.00 valuation Total - Two Hundred and Fifteen ($2.15) cents Upon motion duly seconded, it is ordered that the Board do now adjourn. � pp � Attest: �s �1 i Ly-�i.c.e4.r a ,CLERK n t GC!/J AIRMAN At the Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County, Virginia, held in the Supervisors Room over the Clerk's Office on the 9th, day of March, 1953. REPORTS: Earl Cather, Harry L. McCann, Mrs. A. lw. °right, John Wolfe, I. Fred Stine, Earl Bailey, Robert L. DeHaven. Reports of Earl Cather, Game Warden; Harry L. McCann, Treasurer; Mrs. A. W. Wright, Tuberculosis Association; I. Fred Stine, County Agent; Earl Bailey, Commissioner of the Revenue; and Robert L. DeHaven, Sheriff; were read and approved. ROADS - MINUTES - CORRECTION OF VOTE OF C. E. GARBER Upon motion, it is ordered that the word unanimously in the minutes, on the by -pass around Winchester as recorded in this book on page 59, be stricken from the record as C. E. Garber did not vote for or against said resolution. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE a Accounts totaling $3445.25 were approved and ordered to be paid from the General County Fund by Warrants 14382 to 14425 inclusive and Livestock, Fowl Claims and Earl Cather's salary totaling $211.50 were approved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by Warrants numbers 1315 to 1318 inclusive.
