October 13, 195252 At the Regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County Virginia, held in the Supervisors' Room over the Clerk's Office on the 13th. day of October,1952� C. M. Rosenberger, Chairman; Paul Luttrell, B. 0. Brumback, C. E. Garber, and Grover Teets. The minutes of the last meeting, held on the 8th. day of Septembei, 1952, were read and approved. REPORTS Mrs. A. °'. Wright, Earl Cather, Dr. Lindall, I. Fred Stine, B. D. Fleenor, Robt. L. DeHaven, Earl Bailey and Harry L. McCann. j Reports of Mrs. A. W. - Wright, Tuberculosis Association; Earl Cather, Game Warden; I. Fred Stine, County agent; B. D. Fleenor, Road Engineer; Robert L. DeHaven, Sheriff; Earl Bailey, Commissioner of the Revenue; and Harry L. McCann, Treasurer; were read and approved. RADIO Earl Cather, Game Warden appeared before the Board and requested the 1 sum of One &undyed Dollars to pay for changing the frequency on the radio used in the Game Warden's car. Upon motion duly seconded chc above request was granted. SALARIE '- Upon motion of Charles E. Garber and seconded by Paul Luttrell, this Board unanimously requests the Compensation Board of the State of Virginia not to increase the salaries of any of the officers of Frederick County for the calendar year, beginning on the first day of January, 1952. ZONING _ A VA &ZANCE - JALIES PAPPAS Upon motion of Grover Teets and seconded by C. E. Garber, the follow - ing resolution was adopted. Resolved: That a var-ianciin the zoning ordinance of the restricted area o_i the Martinsbur„ Pike that James Pappas can maintain and continue a sign on his 1 -ot in Zone B, aL:vertisi..5 th? 1.:etropolitan Restaurant in the City of Winchester, Virginia; which sign was in existence at the time of the adoption of the Ordinance establishing Zone B. R OADS Upon motion of B. 0. Brumback and seconded by Grover Teets the fol- lowing resolution was adopted: Resolved that the provision for incidental costs, such as moving and resetting existing fences, houses, utilities or other obstructions of such nature, are to be paid from Secondary Road Funds, allocated or to be allocated to Frederick County, as stated in a resolution; fin- the construction or improvement of a section of Virginia State Routel #600 which was adopted on the 8th. day of September, 1952, by the Board of Supervisors be and the same is hereby rescinded in said resolution, page 50 of Book 91 of the records of this Board. BILLS PAYABLE Accounts totaling $4581.09 were approved and ordered to be paid from the General County Levy by warrants Numbers 14023 to 14064 inclusive and Livestock, Fowl Claim and Earl Cather's salary totaling $720.20 were approved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by Warrants Numbers 1285 to 1294 inclusive.
