At the Regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick
County, Virginia, held in the Supervisors Room over the Clerk's Office on the 10th day of
December, 1951.
PRESENT:
L. B. Whitacre, Chairman, B. 0. Brumback, Ellsworth Dodson, C. E.
Garber and Grover Teets.
The minutes of the last meeting, held on the 12th day of November,
1951 were read and approved.
REPORTS: Earl Cather, Dr. Lindell, Harry L. McCann, I. Fred Stine, Agnes Shirley, B. D.
Fleenor, Robert L. DeHaven and Jane Gross.
Reports of Earl Cather, Game Warden, Dr. Lindell, Health Officer, Harry L. McCann,
Treasurer, I. Fred Stine, County Agent, Agnes Shirley, Home Demonstration.Agent,
B. D. Fleenor, Road Engineer, Robert L. DeHaven, Sheriff and Jane Gross, Welfare,
were read and approved.
Upon motion of Grover Teets and seconded by B. 0. Brumback, the order
for the remuneration for the members of the Planning Board as recorded in Supervisors Minute
Book No. 9 at page 26 was unaminously rescinded.
ORDINANCE - RABIES:
The Ordinance to provide for the enforcement of licensing and the
elimination of any dog of unknown ownership found running at large without a collar and license
tag, and - to inforce quarantine on all dogs during the presence of Rabies in any section of
Frederick County, Virginia, passed its first and second reading. The Clerk is ordered to have
published on two, successive weeks in the Winchester Evening Star that it is the intention of
the Board of Supervisors to propose the same for its third and final reading and passage on
the 14th day of January, 1952.
ROADS - FINAL BUDGET
Upon motion the following resolution was adopted:

SALARY - GAME WARDEN Upon motion duly'seconded, it is ordered that the Game 7arden's salary
be increased from Sixty Dollars per month to Seventy Dollars per Calendar ear.
