RESOLUTION
SALE OF SHA WNEE-LAND SANITARY DISTRICT LOT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 21-118, Code of Virginia (1950, as amended)
the governing body of a sanitary district shall have the power and duties, subject to the
conditions and limitations prescribed therein, to sell property deter,mined to be in the
best interest of the sanitary district,
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County, Virginia, the
governing body of the Shawnee-Land Sanitary District, resolved, after a public hearing
held on May 10, 1989, and after finding that it is in the best interest of the Shawnee-
Land Sanitary District, to sell real estate described as Lot 63, Plat 4, Section 13,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of
Frederick County, Virginia, authorizes the Shawnee-Land Sanitary District, by its
manager, or designated agent. to sell this real estate and execute this quitclaim deed,
on its behalf, to the successful bidder, hereinafter called the Grantee.

THIS QUITCLAIM DEED, made and entered into this 8th day of July
, 1998,
by and between THE SANITARY DISTRICT OF FREDERICK COUNTY, VIRGINIA, party
of the first part, and RENATO L. SOZIO and INES D. SOZIO, his wife, with right of
survivorship, party of the second part.
WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00), cash in
hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by the party of the first part, the said
party of the first part does hereby quitclaim, release, and convey unto the said RENATO L.
SOZIO and INES D. SOZIO, husband and wife, with right of survivorship, any and all right,
title and interest in and to the following described real estate, to-wit:
All that certain lot or parcel of land, lying and being situate
in Back Creek Magisterial District of Frederick County, Virginia,
designated as Lot 63, Plat 4, Section 13, Shawneeland Subdivision,
as described and set forth in that certain Deed of Dedication of Marjec,
Inc., dated May 7,1969, and recorded in the Clerk's Office of the
Circuit Court of Frederick County, Virginia, in Deed Book 354 at Page
595, and being the same property conveyed to the Sanitary District of
Frederick County, Virginia, by deed dated December 15, 1988, from
Roger C. Jackson, of record in the aforesaid Clerk's Office in Deed
Book 702 at Page 243.
WHEREAS, by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County, Virginia,
dated the 8th day of July

County, Virginia.

Sale of Shawnee-Land Sanitary District Lot

Attached is a resolution and deed to sell a lot located in the Shawnee-Land Sanitary
District. As you will note, the appropriate advertisements and public hearings have been
held on the sell of Lot 63, Plat 4, Section 13 to Mr. and Mrs. Renato Sozio based on their
successful bid of$552.
Per the county attorney, a resolution as attached is required each time the board conveys
properties in Shawnee-Land.
If it is the desire of the board to convey this property, the board will need to make a
motion to approve the attached resolution.
