THE FREDERICK COUNTY CODE CHAPTER 7, ELECTIONS J~ - WHEREAS, An ordinance to amend the Frederick County Code, Chapter 7, Elections, Article I, Magisterial Districts, Section 7-1 (Districts Created), Section 7-2 (Districts Enumerated), and Section 7-4 (Boundaries); and Article II, Election Precincts, Section 7-6 (Precincts Created), Section 7-7 (Precincts and Respective Polling Places Enumerated), Section 7-8 (Boundaries), and Section 7-9 . . (Changes in Precinct or Polling Places); and, WHEREAS, The Frederick County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing on this ordinance amendment on May 9, 2001; and, WHEREAS, the Frederick County Board of Supervisors finds the adoption of this ordinance to be in the best interest of the public health, safety, welfare, and convenience; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Frederick County Board of Supervisors that Chapter 7, Elections, Article I, Magisterial Districts, Section 7-1 (Districts Created), Section 7-2 (Districts Enumerated), and Section 7-4 (Boundaries); and Article II, Election Precincts, Section 7-6 (Precincts Created), Section 7-7 (precincts and Respective Polling Places Enumerated), Section 7-8 (Boundaries), and Section 7-9 (Changes in Precinct or Polling Places) is amended as described on the attachment.
