Dear Mr. Petry:
On November 21, 2001, VDOT accepted construction of all right-of-way improvements of the
referenced development.
By copy of this letter to Mr. Patrick Davenport, Frederick County Subdivision Administrator, we
are providing him a legal description of these streets so the necessary Board of Supervisors
resolution may be prepared. For your information the total length of the proposed addition is
0.57 mile.
Once we receive the signed and executed Board resolution in this office, the actual addition
date can be established. However, assuming a February 1, 2002 addition date can be
accomplished there will be a maintenance fee of $375.00 and the surety amount will be
$9,000.00. The surety instrument should be dated from February 1, 2002 to February 1, 2003.
To meet the February 1, 2002 addition date, the required bond and maintenance fee will need
to be in our office by January 1, 2002.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at (540) 535-1828.
