Dear Mr. Riley,
My name is Debra Curtis. I live in Greenbrier Village, which is located in Stephens City.
I have noticed that traffic in the neighborhood is getting a bit crazy. There are lots of
people who are not following the 25 mph speed limit. They just fly by here constantly. It
is not just the main road in Greenbrier (Raven Road). . . but it is also on the other streets as
Well.
I have two boys. I also have some of the neighborhood kids over here to play several
times a week. I really think we need to have some signs put up stating that there are
children playing. They should know that they need to respect the speed limit. My boys
are starting to ride their bikes and sometimes they go to close to the end of our driveway.
It really scares me and I can not be right by each of their sides to keep them from doing
this. The signs would be a greatly appreciated and are much needed. We don't have
sidewalks or streetlights to provide extra safety, so the signs would be a great asset.
Thank you for listening to me.
Sincerely,
~~C\ &uUo
