June 11, 19510 At the Regular Meeting 'of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County, Virginia, held in the Supervisors Room over the Clerk's Office on the 11th day of June, 1951. Garber I The minutes of the Regular Meeting held on the 14th day of.May, 1951 and ithe Special Meeting held on the 26th day of May, 1951 were read and approved. ROAD VIEWERS The Road Viewers who were ordered to view the list of Roads as recorded in Supervisors Book No. 9 at page 3, viewed said roads and recommeded that Woodstock Lane be ex- tended and improved from East of the Corporation Limits 0.3 mile East. REPORTS: I Fred Stine, John Wolfe, Aggnes Shirley, Dr. Alvin Lindell, Harry L. McCann, Jane Gross, Earl Gather, Joseph A. Massie and Robert L. DeHaven. Reports of I. Fred Stine, County Agent, John Wolfe, Assistant County Agent, Agnes Shirley, Home Demonistration Agent, Dr. Alvin Lindell, Health Unit, Harry L. McCann, Treasurer, Jane Gross, Superintendent of Public Welfare, Earl Gather, Game Warden, Joseph A. Massie, Common - wealths Attorney, Robert DeHaven, Sheriff were read and approved. TENTATIVE BUDGET: Upon motion duly seconded the tentative Budget as prepared was unaniously approved and the Clerk of this Board is ordered and authorized to have the same published in the Winchester Star as required by law, and the public hearing thereof shall be held on the 30th day of June, 1951 from 2 :00 to 4 :00 P. M. ROADS: Upon motion of Ellsworth Dodson and seconded by Grover Teets the followin9 Resolution was passed'. BE IT RESOLVED, that section of Route 600 in Frederick County between South Int. Route 613 and Route 608, a distance of approximately 2.6 miles, be constructed with Secondary Federal Aid Funds. ROADS: Upon motion of C. E. Garber and seconded by Ellsworth Dodson the following I resolution was adopted. BE IT RESOLVED, that the section of Woodstock Lane extended from the E. C�. L. Winchester to 0.3 mile East be added to the Secondary System. A thirty foot unrestricted right of way is herein guaranteed. GAME WARDEN'S SALARY: Upon motion duly seconded it is ordered that the Game Warden's salary, beginning on the 1st day of July, 1951, be, and hereby is fixed at Sixty Dollars per calendar month. COUNTY PARKING LOT - HITCHING YARD: Upon motion duly seconded the Committee for Public Grounds and Buildings is hereby instructed to tear down all sheds east of the brick building situated on the County I parking lot and to grade and fill with stone said lot. Also the Board is considering plans for i improvements to the remainder of buildings situated,on said lot. BILLS APPROVED: Accounts totaling $5234.68�were approved and ordered to be paid from the General County Fund by warrants numbers 13079 to 13120 inclusive, and Livestock Claims, Fowl Claims and Earl Gather's Salary totaling $127.15 were approved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by warrants numbers 1201 to 1207 inclusive.
