At the Regular Meeting of the Frederick County Board of Supervisors on the 22nd
day of July, 1968 at 7:30 P. M.
PRESENT: T. B. Rosenberger, Chairman, R. C. Sandy, Donald L. Baughman, J.
Russell and T. B. Brumback.
SOIL CONSERVATION - DISCUSSION
Paul Moore, John Wolfe, members of the Lord Fairfax Soil Conservation and Dr.
Sam Obershain from V. P. I. explained Soil Survey in Frederick County and use of soil map.
The cost to the County would be one -third of the total.
A general discussion and question and answer period was held.
WHITFIELD SUBDMSION - SECTION�2 - FINAL APPROVAL
Upon motion duly made and seconded,
Be it Resolved, that Whitfield Subdivision, Section Two be approved for final
approval and ordered to be recorded.
The above resolution was passed.
DUMP LAND - ROWLES - APPROVED
Upon motion duly made and seconded,
Be it Resolved, that the purchase of Arthur Rowles land be approved, and purchas
price to be delivered when deed is executed.
The above resolution was passed.

ANNEXATION - CITY.& COUNTY
A letter was received from Attorney John Thornton, Jr. informing the Board that
the Attorney for the City, David J. Mays said that the City of Winchester would not be able
to make available water and sewer service to the new school site near Stephens City.
