December 13, 1965134 At the Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County, Virginia, held in the Supervisor's Room on the 13th day of December, 1965• PRESENT: B. 0. Brumback, Chairman; Grover Teets, W. Hurl Hime Paul Luttrell, and Donald L. Baughman. The minutes of the last meeting held on the 8th day of November, 1965 were read and approved. REPORTS: Upon motion duly made and seconded the reports of Harry L. McCann, Treasurer; Earl S. Bailey, Commissioner of Revenue; Robert L. DeHaven, Sheriff of Frederick County; Joseph A. Massie, Jr., Commonwealth Attorney; Roberta A. James, Depa of Welfare; Agnes Shirley, Home Demonstration Agent; John Wolfe, County Agent and H. C. No action was taken at this PLANNING COMMISSION - RESIGNATION OF MEMBERS The Board accepted the resignations of Thomas E. Hassen and C. W. Franks as members of the Frederick County Planning Commission. The Chairman of the Board directed that a list of prospective members be contacted to fill the vacancies for the unexpired terms of each resigning member. In a letter from Dr. L. 0. Fears, he requested the addition of a County Sanitarian to the Planning Commission as a non - voting member. No action was taken. LAKE ST. CLAIR - VACATION OF TATS Upon motion duly made and seconded, The Instrument of Lake St. Clair, Inc. signed by the Lot Owners, according to Section (A) 15.1 - 482 of the Virginia Code, citing the vacation of certain lots was approved and signed by the board. Upon motion duly made and seconded, The Board approved the request of Robert L. DeHaven to add an addit Deputy Sheriff to the present staff. (Lacey H. Anderson) The Sheriff asked permission to purchase a new car radio, which was approved by the Board. ROUTE 522 - DUALIZATION OF HIGHWAY adopted: Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was Resolved, That the Frederick County Board of Supervisor's does hereby petition the Highway Department to give higher priority for the earliest possible development of U. S. Route 522 North as a divided, four -lane highway north to the West Virginia Line. Men's RESTROOM The Board agreed to have George Whitacre obtain estimates on the cost of cleaning and repainting of the Men's Restroom in the basement of the Court House. ARTMOBILE II - PARKED ON ROUSS AVENUE The Board granted permission to the Blue'Ridge Chapter of the Vir Museum to park the Artmobile II on Rouss Avenue from December 20, through December 23, 1965• SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE Upon motion duly made and seconded, The Frederick County Subdivision Ordinance was approved on final appro subject to and including the changes by the City of Winchester, No reply from Stephens City and Middletown within the forty -five days. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Accountings totaling $11,440.47 were read and approved and ordered ' to be paid from the General County Funds by Warrants 750 and 812 inclusive: Livestock, Fowl Claim and Henry Bursey's Salary totaling $639.44 were read and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by Warrants 2351 and 2358 inclusive. UPON MOTION DULY MADE AND SECONDED, IT IS ORDERED THAT THE BOARD DO NOW ADJOURN.
